We’re looking for strategic and visionary demand generation / marketing leader.  This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is eager to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of a critical marketing function and evangelize the Aeris IoT solutions. So this is where you come in!


    The Manager of Demand Generation will take ownership of Integrated Campaigns to generate demand for our Enterprise and Mid-Market business teams.  Responsibilities include developing compelling messaging, crafting blended campaign strategies, and working with marketing automation and CRM systems to manage lead input, track campaign results, analyze data, and improve processes. A deep understanding of best practices in the capture, tracking, qualifying, segmenting and reporting on leads is essential.


    The ideal candidate must be self-directed, a tenacious problem-solver, collaborate well with colleagues, take initiative, and manage numerous projects simultaneously.  We are looking for someone with critical thinking skills who can dive into the details to get things done with a “can do” attitude. Expertise in HubSpot is a requirement, knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.  This role is currently an independent contributor role, but requires management of vendors and contractors, and has a growth path to a management role.  

    Role and Responsibilities:  

    • Own integrated marketing campaigns for multiple verticals and buyers in different stages of the funnel
    • Create unique messaging to address customer pain points, and drive prospect to close
    • Identify the best mix for each integrated campaign, and manage the team to implement – options include webinars, e-books, interactive media, paid advertising, organic social media, live events, email, and other channels
    • Participate in account-based marketing efforts, accelerating the funnel for key target accounts
    • Generate, nurture, qualify and track leads through online campaigns including content marketing, SEO/SEM, webinars, advertising and content syndication
    • Own lead nurturing program for key verticals using HubSpot
    • Track campaign performance metrics and provide ongoing recommendations to increase campaign effectiveness
    • Coordinate with Outside and Inside sales teams to keep the team educated on marketing programs and align with sales efforts
    • Participate in management of the global lead database and segmentation thereof
    • Test landing pages and emails to improve conversion rates
    • Manage marketing automation system (currently HubSpot) and utilize NetSuite CRM to track leads in the pipeline
    • This role will be measured by the number of leads, cost per qualified lead, and the % of leads that turn into prospects and customers

    The Successful Candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B marketing with at least 5 years in lead/demand generation, ideally for Enterprise targets
    • Hubspot Certification, or knowledge of a similar marketing automation platform
    • Strong writing skills, able to create powerful targeted messages for buyer personas
    • Experience with B2B messaging for large, complex sales
    • Understanding of buyer personas, audience segmentation, and how to apply this to direct marketing and lead nurturing campaigns for complex sales
    • Experience with lead nurturing and managing a lead nurturing program
    • Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness using a CRM and other reporting tools
    • Minimum of 3 years hands-on, demonstrable experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
    • Ability to work well in a tight-knit team, manage competing priorities, and maintain communication with stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic, performance-driven environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft® Excel


    Great Pluses:

    • Experience with NetSuite
    • Experience in a SaaS-based software industry is preferred
