Position Overview

This is an opportunity for a Rock Star Recruiter to take their career to the next level by making an impact at a fast-growing, global technology company. In this role, you will be a hands-on Talent Acquisition Manager and partner closely with hiring managers and functional leaders to hire top talent for our growing company. In addition, you’ll be taking the lead on managing our ATS (iCIMS) and leading recruitment branding strategy for our social media channels.


We’re looking for an engaged and high energy Recruiting Manager will truly represent the culture and the exciting opportunity of working at Aeris. You’ll report to and work closely with the Senior Director of Talent. This position can be based at our Global Headquarters in San Jose, CA or in our Chicago office (River North area) which is the Global Center of Excellence for Aeris.



  • Partnering with hiring managers on executing a variety of searches with a heavy emphasis on technology positions such as Java Software Developers, Software and Web Architects, Network Engineers, Project Managers, DevOps Engineers, QualDev Engineers, Cloud Engineers and Architects, etc.
  • Meet with hiring managers on a weekly basis and provide updates on all positions to ensure a collaborative and productive recruitment process is in place
  • Execute a smaller pool of Marketing, Finance, Admin and Sales positions as needed
  • Continue building out our campus strategy with a focus on diversity


  • Pipeline for higher volume roles in Sales and most critical roles in Engineering
  • Apply candidate generation strategies through the use of various tools/channels like LinkedIn, iCIMS, GitHub, and job boards to source and qualify top candidates

Recruitment Branding / Social Media

  • Manage our key advertising sites like LinkedIn, Glassdoor as well as smaller niche sites
  • Manage social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and ensure we continually provide fresh content as well as ensure our branding messaging conveys the true spirit of “Life at Aeris”

ATS Management

  • Act as our ATS (iCIMS) administrator and ensure new tools are being adopted as new functionalities are rolled out
  • Liaise with our ATS vendors and work with them to troubleshoot any issues we may experience
  • Produce management reporting in close partnership with the Sr. Director of Talent

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant major
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous full lifecycle recruiting experience required with at least 3 years focusing on Technology / IT
    • Ability to converse with candidates about programming languages, web technologies and software development processes with a strong focus on Java and Core Java technologies
    • Good understanding of recruiting for big data technologies such as Hadoop and Cassandra is a plus
  • Experienced in behavioral based interviewing
  • Proven track record of sourcing and qualifying passive candidates by leveraging recruiting technology and professional networks
  • Be comfortable utilizing multiple channels like LinkedIn, iCIMS, GitHub, job boards and other creative tools to source and qualify top candidates
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative team skills
  • Enjoy managing multiple tasks by being flexible, creative and adaptable
  • Enjoy taking initiative to drive results

  • Prior experience as a Recruiting Manager
  • A mix of agency and corporate, in-house recruiting experience
