This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is eager to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of a critical marketing function and evangelize the Aeris IoT solutions. The Senior Manager OR Director of Demand Generation will take ownership of one of our key geographical regions (North America or APAC) to generate demand for our Solutions and Connectivity enterprise business teams.  Responsibilities include working with marketing automation and CRM systems to manage lead input, track campaign results, analyze data, and improve processes. A deep understanding of best practices in the capture, tracking, qualifying, segmenting and reporting on leads is essential.

 

The ideal candidate must be self-directed, a tenacious problem-solver, collaborate well with colleagues, take initiative, and manage numerous projects simultaneously. In this role, attention to detail is critical. We are looking for someone with critical thinking skills who can dive into the details to get things done with a “can do” attitude. Expertise in Marketing Automation (preferably HubSpot) is a requirement, knowledge of NetSuite is a plus. This role is currently an independent contributor role, but manages one full-time vendor as well as an array of additional vendors and contractors, and the candidate must be a good fit for a quick transition to a management role.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Create campaigns from start to finish, including value prop messaging and targeting analysis
  • Generate, nurture, qualify and track leads through online campaigns including content marketing, SEO/SEM, webinars, advertising and content syndication
  • Manage lead nurturing program using HubSpot
  • Manage direct email marketing campaigns for multiple verticals and buyers in different stages of the funnel but generally very large companies
  • Establish benchmarks for campaign performance metrics and provide recommendations to increase campaign effectiveness continually
  • Coordinate with Direct Sales and Partner Sales team to integrate direct marketing programs with sales calling efforts
  • Manage the global lead database and segmentation thereof
  • Maintain all direct marketing assets
  • Test landing pages and emails to improve conversion rates
  • Create new campaigns and optimize existing campaigns based on campaign results and effectiveness
  • Manage marketing automation system (currently HubSpot) and utilize NetSuite CRM to track leads in the pipeline
  • This role will be measured by the number of leads, cost per qualified lead, and most importantly, the % of leads that turn into prospects


The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B marketing with at least 5 years in lead/demand generation, ideally for large companies
  • Experience with B2B messaging for large, complex sales, as well as creating and marketing to unique Buyer Personas
  • Strong experience in the full cycle of campaign creation, from messaging development, to execution, to follow up and analysis.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation and how to apply this to direct marketing and lead nurturing campaigns for complex sales
  • Experience with lead nurturing and managing a lead nurturing program, preferably in Hubspot
  • Metrics-driven professional that can also write and optimize copy and design
  • 2 – 3 years of email marketing experience to different vertical segments and large buyers throughout the funnel
  • Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness using a CRM and other reporting tools, preferably in Hubspot
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on, demonstrable experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms, Google Analytics, and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently, manage your priorities, and maintain communication with stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic, performance-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Excel

Great Pluses:

  • HubSpot Certified
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Experience in a SaaS-based software industry is preferred
  • Expertise in Microsoft® Excel, including pivot tables and other advanced capabilities
