As a member of our expanding outside sales team, you will make it your mission to understand your customers’ present and future goals in order to deliver intelligent, M2M solutions. Are you ready to be a part of an industry and company that is changing the way businesses run and operate?


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Build a material pipeline of customer opportunities, primarily through self-generated vertical market penetration
  • Create new proposals, negotiate major terms and conditions, and close new customers
  • Manage and grow existing large customers
  • Drive on-boarding activity for new customers such that customers begin generating revenue as quickly as possible
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Aeris’ entire product line, with a focus on our Connectivity Solutions
  • Generate sales reports each week with accurate forecasting of new sales growth and existing base revenue on a quarterly basis
  • Develop agreeing and execute successful Go-To Market strategies that result in accelerated growth


What we look for in you:

  • You are a target driven individual with 5 - 10 years of B2B sales experience in the Mid and Enterprise Market, including 1 - 2 years of direct M2M / IoT Sales experience
  • You’re an aggressive hunter with a proven track record of building a book of business in an entrepreneurial environment
  • You are a deal closer with a demonstrable track record of success
  • You enjoy problem-solving and developing and writing commercial value propositions and proposals
  • You enjoy developing presentations and love presenting to clients
  • You are proficient in utilizing CRM tools, including how to generate management reports
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy speaking with both internal and external parties / partners
  • You are passionate about this exciting space and love to stay on top of industry and market trends to identify potential customers and revenue generating opportunities
  • You are self-motivated, assertive, and comfortable working with little to no direction
  • You have flexibility to travel between 30-50%, dependent on our customer and business needs and MUST be able to work from the Reading office 1 - 2 days a week when not traveling for business
  • You must have a significant number of M2M/IoT buyer contacts to leverage in Enterprise and OEM space
  • You have experience in selling to Buying committees and multi-stakeholder buyer environment.
  • Experience in selling to OEMs and enterprises in verticals such as:
    • Transport & Logistics
    • Finance & Point of Sales
    • Green Energy
    • Manufacturing
  • You are a team player and enjoy collaborating with pre-sales, product, and development teams to ensure the right IoT solutions are implemented for your customers
