We are looking for recent and upcoming graduates who are interested in starting a career in sales to join our corporate sales team at our River North area, Chicago, IL office! As our Entry-level Account Executives, you must have amazing communication skills, determination, and creativity - you will be the driving force behind educating and evangelizing the benefits of Aeris’ IoT Connectivity solutions offering across the country. 


Role & Responsibilities:

  • You will establish and build strong relationships with potential prospects and turn them into Aeris customers
  • You will own and manage your sales pipeline, tracking all changes and updates in our CRM
  • As part of this corporate sales team, you will have the chance to directly learn from and collaborate with the Director of Sales - IoT Connectivity and the corporate sales team to create and execute strategies that will generate leads using multiple channels
  • Collaborate with multiple Aeris business units on revenue generating strategies: Operations, Product, and Marketing
  • Generate IoT opportunities via proven tactics and creative and new approaches
  • In partnership with marketing, you will qualify provided leads and actively track sales data to ensure that all required metrics are met
  • You will have access to Aeris sales leaders, technical teams, and legal - collaborating on creating the right solutions, price negotiations and contract creation
  • Conduct live product demonstrations over the phone and via webinar
  • You continuously increase and update your knowledge of Aeris’ entire product line, with a focus on our Connectivity Solutions


The Successful Candidate will have:

  • You must have or will receive your Bachelor’s Degree in either Finance, Communications, Business, Sociology, Psychology, Sports Science, or a related major
  • You are a life-learner and have a strong desire to learn about our booming IoT industry
  • You're curious - you may not have much prior work experience, but you are very active and have a demonstrated interest in understanding how technology can be applied to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges
  • You have strong analytical and market research skills, using data and research to identify new potential markets, customers, and revenue generating opportunities 
  • You are driven and motivated by meeting and/or exceeding goals and expectations, whether it is setting up appointments with prospective clients, closing deals, etc.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, contacting and speaking to new people excite you
